Evelyn Kortum, International Health and Safety Expert

Evelyn is a health and safety expert with a special training in occupational (work) psychology. During her role as Senior Technical Officer in the Occupational Health Programme at the World Health Organization (WHO,) she was the global coordinator and co-writer of the WHO Healthy Workplaces: A Model for Action. Evelyn served as General Secretary of the Federation for International Civil Servant Associations (FICSA) and was the President and Vice-President of the WHO headquarters staff association covering close to 3000 staff. She obtained a PhD in Applied Psychology from the University of Nottingham, a MSc in Occupational Psychology from Birkbeck College, and is a BPS accredited Chartered Psychologist.
